It is the sister restaurant of the original Baron in Beirut's Mar Mikhael district, founded by chef Athanasios Kargatzidis, whose Beirut location was named Best Restaurant in Lebanon in both 2022 and 2023 by The World's 50 Best Restaurants and has ranked among MENA's 50 Best Restaurants in recent years.
